In Social Political Design, the class were assigned with making posters featuring a controversial topic of our choice. Being from New Orleans, naturally I chose potholes. Potholes can be found all throughout the streets of New Orleans due to the climate and being below sea level. 

In my research of potholes, I found a way to contact the city. 

**Call 311 or Email 311@NOLA.GOV**

I had my doubts, but after reporting my first pothole, it was fixed within two weeks! I tried it again with the same results.

I was surprised at how easy it was to report and fix. I wondered why people were not doing anything about the potholes that aggravated their daily commutes. Then it hit me. No one knows that they can report/ there is a way to report potholes and other problems in the city. So, I made these posters to inform the public which also doubled as my controversial topic for class. Its the best of both worlds (queue Hannah Montana).
